Next Up

Hopefully tomorrow evening to gigg lane for FC UNITED v NANTWICH TOWN in the Evo-Stick Premier League

RADCLIFFE BORO v SKELMERSDALE UNITED 24/08/10

Radcliffle Boro 1 v 4 Skelmersdale United

This was a very much one sided affair in the 1st half with Skem racing into a 0-3 lead within the first half hour, could of been very different had Radcliffle scored form the penalty spot when it was only 0-1. Both these teams play in the Evo-Stick Division North , although its early days, looks like Radcliffe will need to do a lot of work in this league, whereas Skem look strong, the 2nd Half was a much closer half with Radcliffe pulling a goal back, but Skem stepped up the pressure a ended the game with another goal, an excellent encounter overall.

The programme came free with admission which was £7 , in my opinion the programme was very poor quality and they normally charge £1.50 for it , they will need to improve on that i think, but then i guess its not a priority for some clubs, food was a hotdog stand which again was very poor and not recommended , charge £3 for a very poor hotdog.

All in all an enjoyable game and evening , the ground is of good quality and they have an excellent club house which also serves the local community

PRESTWICH HEYS v HINDSFORD 17/08/10

Prestwich Heys 2 v 4 Hindsford

a visit to local club Prestwich Heys for my first hop they play in the Manchester Premier League , the game was an excellent advert for this league with 6 goals scored and a penalty saved, Hindsford deserved the win and looked a decent outfit.

The progrmme was a decent affair and came with admission which was only £2 well worth it, they produce every home game fo those who like to get a programme , there is a small clubhouse which does the usual fare, stocked with cans and bottles of beer , soft drinks and pies, chips as well.
